Human immunodeficiiency virus infection (HIV) / acqiured immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS) caused by the human immuniodeficiency virus. HIV/AIDS is transmitted by unprotected sexual intercourse , contaminated blood transfuions, hypodermmic needles, from mother to child during pregnancy.
Till now there is no cure or vaccine for HIV/AIDS . Antiretroviral treatment can slow the course of the disease and may lead to a near normal life expectancy.
There are many fake medicines available in the market claims that it will cure HIV/AIDS but there no solid proof that those medicines can completely recover an AIDS patient. Presently there is only antiretroviral treatment that slows down the infection.
